In her address prior to the Iftar, Khaleda alleged that the government has destroyed the country during its three and a half years' rule through unbridled corruption and misrule.
About Padma Bridge, Khaleda said the World Bank and other international organisations stopped funding for the bridge project due to corruption by the government. "This government won't be able to construct the bridge in its tenure."
Referring to the shabby conditions of roads and highways across the country, the former premier said the government did not carry out any development or repair work on in its tenure.
